For this project, I redesigned a book cover in the style of a famous designer. I chose the book Alice in Wonderland, and then redesigned the cover in the style of Luba Lukova. She is known for bright, intense colors with bold, black-and-white illustrations that twist reality and make the viewer think about things differently. 
When designing this book cover in Lukova's style, I chose to focus on the more psychedelic or drug trip-related connotations with Alice in Wonderland. To bring out these dark themes in an intriguing way, I chose to use a dead white rabbit floating in a "trippy" swirling tea in a giant tea cup. This juxtaposition fits both the wild adventures within the story of Alice in Wonderland, but also exemplifies Luba Lukova's style.
